Trouble collecting your unemployment?

Over the last few weeks, many of you have reached out to my office regarding difficulties with unemployment insurance. There are still substantial backlogs in the payout of unemployment insurance claims, and we know it can be incredibly frustrating.

My staff and I are here to assist you with your claim. If you are having issues, please email us at Rep.Stafsholt@legis.wi.gov with the following information:

• Full name of claimant (Last name, First name, Middle initial)
• Address
• Phone Number
• Date of UI Application
• Date of birth and last four of SS#
• Status of application (trying to file initial claim, in appeal, etc)
• Reason for inquiry (can’t get through by phone, unanswered questions, etc.)
