We want to thank all the kids who participated and read their little hearts out!

 

We also want to thank our supporters SCC Elementary, Culver’s in Hudson, Hudson Movie Theater, Badlands Snow Park, St. Croix Lanes, Hazel Mackin Library Board & Staff for helping motivate our youth to read, set goals, and reach them!

 

These kids raised $925 dollars during this year’s Read a thon! That is nearly triple from the year before! We had 6 over achievers who raised over $75 to earn the top prize: Jacob S, Scott S, Kyndall L, Andrew Stanek, Nathan C, & Wyatt L!

The kids read a total of 8,173 minutes! Our most minutes read winners were: 4K/K: 690 minutes Blake S, 1st/2nd: 819 minutes Jacob S, 3rd/ 4th: 890 minutes Scott S, & Middle School: 3244 minutes Evelyn H. Wow!

 

Our kiddos also had some great ideas on what they would like to see some of the money go towards! You can watch for new ideas and books to be added to the library with a special sticker :Donated by Read a thon 2020-21!:

 

We truly appreciate all the hard work and effort you all have done. You should be PROUD! We look forward to making new goals for next year.
