Temporary Operating Hours and Other Changes in Wake of COVID-19

Beginning Monday, February 1st, the library building will be open for browsing and computer use only.

Building hours will be:

M 10-2, T 10-6, W 10-2, Th 3-7, F 10-6

Other Temporary Changes:

  • We ask that patrons keep their browsing to 15 minutes or less.
  • In compliance with CDC recommendations, St. Croix County Health guidelines, and Wisconsin State Library Statutes, per the Roberts Library Board “With the exception of those who are medically unable, all library patrons ages 3 and up are required to wear a face mask until further notice.” If you have questions please contact the library board.
  • The children’s area will be closed; you will still be able to browse for books in that area but there will be no toys or games out in the library.
  • To aid in social distancing there will be fewer public computers; when you are done with a computer, please let staff know so we can clean the area. Wi-Fi will still be available in the parking lot and front of the building
  • Meeting rooms will be closed to the public.
  • All library programs, including story time, will remain virtual.
  • While the library printer will be available for patron use, staff assistance will be required.
  • Please stay home if you are sick.
  • Please obey social distancing rules.
  • Material returns will be available in the outside book drop only; library staff is unable to take returns by hand at this time. Materials will be quarantined for 24 hours before they are checked in. This is a decrease based on new interpretations of REALM study information.

Everything is subject to change depending on COVID-19 cases in the county, staff health, and people’s ability to follow these guidelines.
